Common questions
I bought full access but the app still looks locked.
Paid access is tied to your Badge to Bugles account and purchase record and normally lasts 3 calendar months. For an Apple or Google purchase, sign in to the same Badge to Bugles account, then open Account & Privacy → Restore Apple / Google purchases. For a website purchase, sign in with the same email used at Stripe checkout. Older grandfathered website access also remains tied to its original account. If access is still missing, email us.
Does access renew automatically?
No. An initial purchase provides 3 calendar months. During the final 30 days, and for 30 days after expiration, you can choose one additional 3-calendar-month extension for 50% off. After that extension, another regular-price purchase starts a new cycle.
The Voice Mock or microphone isn't working.
Voice Mock asks for explicit consent and microphone permission. If you declined permission, enable it in your device settings for Badge to Bugles, then reopen the app. Typed practice works without microphone access.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Account & Privacy → Delete account permanently. If you no longer have the app, use our web account-deletion page to request deletion. This removes the Badge to Bugles account and synchronized practice data. Limited store, security, backup, tax, or legally required records may remain as described in our Privacy Policy.
Can I get a refund?
For a native purchase, request a refund through Apple or Google using the receipt or order. For a Stripe website purchase, email [email protected].
Is this affiliated with my department or a testing agency?
No. Badge to Bugles is an independent study tool, not affiliated with or endorsed by any fire department, civil-service commission, or testing authority. It's for preparation only.
